REENTRY
REENTRY was a national, juried visual art exhibition featuring artworks that explore the concept or process of reentering. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and the mark it continues to leave on the world, this exhibition explores the idea of reentry into a world that no longer looks, feels or functions in the same way. REENTRY featured the works of 34 different artists from across the United States. Works were selected by Vicki Friedman, the Executive Director of Arts as Healing Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that offers cancer patients and their caregivers the opportunity for creative expression and fulfillment by providing free art lessons and a variety of other artistic and educational activities. The exhibition ran September 14 - October 31, 2020. The opening reception was held September 14, 2021 at the Webster Arts gallery.
