Yarn Bombing 2025!

Yarn Bombing is an art movement that uses colorful yarn blankets, squares, and sewn pieces to adorn different objects, like trees and benches, in a creative, impromptu way.

We need your help in yarn bombing Webster Groves this Spring! You can participate by knitting, crocheting or sewing pieces together to create a “blanket” that is at least 24” x 30”. Drop off your pieces at Webster Arts through May 15, 2025. We will take all of the donated pieces, sew some together and unveil our yarn bombing two weeks before the Webster Arts Fair! Donations will also be accepted during the fair as we continue to add to our installation that weekend.

New to knitting or crocheting? Drop in during one of our stitch-ins and learn! Yarn and needles will be provided, or for more experienced fiber artists, please bring your favorite supplies. Everyone is welcome!

Basic Guidelines:
-
Please use a medium weight, machine washable acrylic yarn.
- All pieces must be "family friendly" and not contain offensive material.
- Work must be submitted by May 15 to be installed prior to the Webster Arts Fair. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday, 9:30 AM - 5:00
- Have fun and be creative!

All pieces will be washed and donation to local organizations after the Webster Arts Fair.
