The German word, Wanderlust, describes a desire to move about, and particularly describes the nineteenth century practice of hiking through the countryside, whether of one’s own country or another. In our modern age, wanderlust often describes the desire to go somewhere new, exploring the major cities of the world. Wanderlust travels the spectrum from the pastoral to the technological, the individual to the global, deeply personal to communal, the ancient to the modern. Webster Arts invites artists to share their journey of Wanderlust.
